The Roller Hawks’ Nick Scott will continue his rise through the basketball ranks when he flies out to Bangkok, Thailand on Saturday as part of the Men’s Under 23 Australian wheelchair basketball team.

The Wollongong Roller Hawks have celebrated another successful season at their annual End of Season Dinner held at the Albion Park RSL.

Eino Okkonen has been honoured with Life Membership by Wheelchair Sports NSW (WSNSW) in recognition of the years of service he has dedicated to wheelchairs sports in the Illawarra.

The Roller Hawks have finished the NWBL season in third place after a 66-55 win over the Red Dust Heelers in the Bronze Medal match while Kilsyth were too strong for Perth in the Gold Medal match winning 80-54.

The Wollongong Roller Hawks will need to overcome a major setback after Michael Auprince injured his wrist just days before the NWBL Final Series.
